If Christ is in you, and you become obedient to Him, it says the things that He did on the earth, you’re going to do them too, because He’s in you with the word of His Father in Him. ...and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. With Christ and the Holy Spirit in you, there is an opening for those that walk in faith and go into dominion to do the same works and even greater than what Jesus did. We’re going to continue on with faith. Where does faith stop? Well it doesn’t. When we start to do something, no matter what it is, in our human flesh we will think about it for two or three weeks and if nobody stops it, we’ll be doing that thing. God has made us so we can keep focusing upon a certain thing. And as we learn one thing, it becomes a part of us and we go on to the next thing and the next. If it’s all coming from the Lord, we’re growing in the Lord. But if it’s satan, we will grow in satan. That’s just the way it is. I think it was meant in the beginning to be a good thing. No matter what you do, it will keep growing. So what I want to open up now is that faith is a relationship. When you have relation with a spouse or whoever, you have faith that they will do certain things, but there are other things you are not certain they will continue. It’s the same way with faith. Faith grows into authority. Once we get to the place that Christ and the Father are living in us and we begin to fellowship with them, we begin to grow in them (Christ and the Father). And that’s where the new creation really begins to take effect and we are in a good place from then on to continue and grow in that. And even though we are walking in faith, it’s going to become less of a focus because we are already in that place of walking and believing and trusting. All of us are that way to some degree. We want to start with John 14. The first few verses tell us not to be troubled about the world we live in, because God is making a place and a home that is absent of rebellion. Verse 6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The only way we can know the Father is to look at Jesus and see how He acted, how He performed, how He did things, because Paul talked about Jesus being the second Adam. The first Adam brought sin into the world, one man, but Jesus came into the world to save all those that want to be with Him and the Father. He says, in spite of a lot of people and religions stating there are many ways to God, it’s not true. Jesus said, I am the way, and the truth only comes from Me. The reason is because Jesus is the word and the word comes from the Father. Because of that, Jesus is fellowshipping with the Father all the time because the word is in Him. The Father was in Jesus on this earth by the Father speaking to Him. He wasn’t physically in Him, but in the spirit realm. The Father lived in the Son because of the words that the creator Father spoke, because what He says goes. Paul says it was a delight for Jesus to be a part of the creation and they had so much fun doing it. Even David talks about the fun God had creating all the things He created. So we’re going to have fun as well, doing whatever it is that God has planned. We have not comprehended in any way what God is preparing to do with His people that hate rebellion. So He is the way, the truth, and the life and no man cometh to the Father but by Him. Jesus became the veil that protects you and me from trying to enter into the presence of the Father and be killed, the same way it was in the Old Testament, because sin is not a part of God. Verse 7, If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. If you know Jesus, then you should know the Father, because Jesus performed according to the words of the commission of Father God. Verse 8, Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. And it’s just like it was in the day of creation, when the Father said, Let it be, and commissioned Jesus. He gave Jesus wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and all the things He needed to create that thing because God spoke it, and all creation obeys the Father. And because Jesus obeyed the Father all authority was given to Him without measure. That should tell you something about how to walk in the power of God. Verse 11, Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. So what happens here is that if Jesus comes and begins to live in you, you are born into a realm of Jesus and the Father in the beginning stages because the Father is in Christ. So you begin to know the highest authority possible in all of the creation. So Jesus begins the work in you of cleansing. Verse 12, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. One of the reasons John doesn’t talk a lot about faith is because he went beyond faith to dominion. I always wondered why he never spoke very much about faith. Faith was a part of him, so much that it was just the way he was, so he didn’t have to talk about it. It was already fully settled in him. You’ve heard me say many times that Jesus commanded the evil spirits to go to arid places because He was going to let you put them in the pit. That’s a greater work than Jesus did. It isn’t that He couldn’t have done it, but He left it for us to do. Verse 13, And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you obey Jesus and you love Him and know Him, He’s going to give you what you ask so that you will continue to accomplish what God gave us to do on the earth. How is that going to glorify Jesus? Because as we continue to increase and multiply and begin to walk in dominion, then we as a people are increasing and growing from the labor that Jesus did on the earth and the hope He gave mankind. The Father loves it and He’s going to glorify His Son, by what Jesus did for us. Verse 14, If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. Because Jesus wants to get glory from His Father. When the children grow up and walk in great power, it will be glory to their earthly father, to their heavenly Father, and His Son. And the glory is going to keep increasing and multiplying. The glory of God, His creation and what He’s done, is going to keep getting bigger and the glory will manifest from the Father to the Son to the children of men. So if we ask anything in His name; I want a brand new car, a new this, a new that. No, that isn’t in His name. You won’t get glory for that. That’s the world and it’s all going to be burned up. He’s taken us out of the world and put us in heavenly places. Verse 15, If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. How can you tell if the Holy Spirit is really the Holy Spirit when people say the Holy Spirit said this or that? The level of truth that is in them. If they walk in error and everything else, that’s not the work of the Holy Spirit. The work of the Holy Spirit is to show you what’s right and wrong in your life and then you are responsible to remove it. We have three parts of the Godhead working in every person that is born again and wants to walk and be redeemed and reunited in power and authority the way God created us to be. And faith is the seed that will bring all of that forth. But when the ear comes, you don’t look at the seed anymore; you look at the ear and look how much it has grown. You see the fruit of it. So John didn’t write very much about faith. He went on to write about the relationship of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and you. And that’s what he’s doing right here. Verse 18, I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. With Christ in us, the hope of glory. Doesn’t that make more sense? It’s the hope of glory. The labor that Christ and the Father and the Holy Spirit does in you is the hope that God is going to shower His glory upon you so those that labor under the Father to get you to that place will be glorified. So it isn’t just you when God glorifies you, or puts His glory upon you, but His glory is also increased in Christ Jesus. That’s lifting up Jesus, and He said if you lift Him up He will draw all men. That’s how people are going to get saved; the glory of God will cover the earth. Wouldn’t it be incredible to have the Father say, come in son, I want to fellowship with you now because of the glory that is on you because of My Son. Verse 20, At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. Jesus was in the Father but when we become like Jesus, because of the work that Jesus did, there is a time and a place where we will enter into the Holy of Holies. Aren’t the twenty four elders in the presence of the Father? Yes, they are. They made it into the Holy of Holies, to live there. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your heavenly Father is perfect, to be able to enter into His presence. Because the holiness of the Son and the Holy Spirit is helping us and laboring over us to enter into the most holy of all places in the face of creation: the presence of the Father. When that takes place, we will then have dominion on the earth to accomplish what needs to be done and it won’t be hard because the word of God is in us. Verse 21, He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. To manifest is to make known. Have you ever seen a little child manifest? They let you know what’s in them. Verse 23, Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. God wants to take us into the Holy of Holies. That doesn’t mean everything is done because you are in the Holy of Holies. It means that you’re in another level of called, chosen, and faithful. He’s putting His stamp on me to be faithful. It goes beyond the faithfulness that I walked in and I don’t see it as having faith in God, because that’s already in my foundation. But what He’s doing in me is the foundation and the seed that got me to where I’m at, which is faith, but the fruit of that faith is dominion. So we will begin to look at faith from now on in the realms of getting to the place that God can release dominion to destroy the wickedness of this world. It’s nothing to be scared of if we get to that place where we’re not rebellious anymore. Even though there is difficulty in getting to the right place, it’s not as hard because God has dealt with many levels of rebellion in us to get us even to this place. Verse 24, He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. Those that don’t love Him, don’t listen to what Jesus says, and the words you hear Him say are not His, they come from the Father. So when a word of prophecy comes, that word isn’t just coming from the Holy Spirit, but it’s coming from the Father to us. He says, what you are really hearing is the Father which sent Me. Verse 25, These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. God is going to restore all things. Are you a thing? Verse 27, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. You might take this and apply that to Saul, the first king of Israel. He thought he was doing what God wanted, but he brought some of the animals back that he was told to destroy. They were nice animals and he thought they would make a good sacrifice. But it angered God because they put their own mind into what they thought God wanted instead of what He said to do. Jesus said I don’t even know when we’re coming back. Only the Father knows and I’m not going to beg Him until He tells Me. No, that’s for the Father. He’s going to make the decision when it’s all over, and when it’s all over We’re coming back. I’m preparing a place for you that when the Father says it’s time, He’s going to come and gather all of His people to Him. Verse 29 again, And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. That’s how He does it. He tells us something and then maybe a month later or a year later we look back and see, that’s what You wanted us to do because this is where we’re at. It’s a faith builder not to have to know what it is that God is doing in your life and what He’s planning on using you for, but just be obedient to Him. Then it will be pure because you weren’t in it, you were just a messenger releasing the word, and that’s what Jesus is trying to say. The Father is greater than I and He’s the one that has all authority. The Father has given Me all authority, but I know that He’s greater than I so I’m not stepping out and I’m not going to say something I don’t know. Verse 30, Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence. John 15:4, Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. That’s not a very good ending. Verse 7, If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. That’s a total different story. It’s not what you want, it’s what God has commissioned and made you to be to bring forth the glory of God upon the earth. People will see the labor that God did to you and they will say if God can save that person, I think He can save me. Verse 8, Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. To be able to lay down your life for others on the earth that do not know God, you have to lay down your ambitions, your everything, and let God take over so the labor that somebody sees in you is His. The reason it’s easy to see the glory that’s in the children is because they don’t know anything else. But it doesn’t take long until they find out what rebellion is like. Verse 14 again, Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. This all goes back to the glory of God. His labor is glorified when you obey. It is increased upon the earth when you obey. Verse 15, Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. If you begin to obey the words and commandments of God, He is going to ordain and commission you to a work of helping others come to the place you are. Verse 17, These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. We are still in the world, but we are not of the world. We are in Jesus, in the Father’s words. So we become the word like John called Jesus. Verse 20, Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. The reason that is is because it makes them guilty if they admit that what you’re doing is what God wants done. Verse 23, He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If you are walking in the way you are supposed to be walking and the world hates you, you know they are not saved. They would recognize if you are walking with the word of God in you. John 16:7, Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: He will show you right and wrong, which is Hebrews 4:12, the double edged sword. The three things He’s going to work on are: the sin in you, the righteousness that has the power to remove that sin, and the judgment so that you can know right from wrong. Verse 9, Of sin, because they believe not on me; If people live in sin and talk about the Holy Spirit, it’s not the right Holy Spirit. If they won’t listen to the true Holy Spirit they won’t listen to you either and you need to just let them go. If there is any hope the Holy Spirit has to break their will and if that doesn’t do it then they’re dead. Verse 10, Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; The Holy Spirit shows people the righteousness of Christ. If they accept Christ, who is righteous and holy, then He will give them power to become sons by having the power to remove sin and begin to become children of the living God. Without righteousness in you, you have no power or dominion over the wickedness of this world. Verse 11, Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: There’s the big one right there. If they are walking in truth, it will identify with you and there will be some level of fellowship. It doesn’t mean they are where they need to be, but if they are not rebellious, that truth will begin to grow in them and they will begin to see they are in a wrong place. That’s being convicted. …for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 17:2, As thou hast given him power over all flesh… Jesus has been given power over all flesh. So what does that mean for you and me? If Christ is living in you and the authority is in you through Christ, He has authority over all flesh, so you can get rid of it. Verse 3, And this is life eternal, that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Eternal life is Christ and the Father living in you and the Holy Spirit helping to show you what is right and what is wrong and giving the things Jesus used on the earth to you, because Jesus overcame, and all wickedness was put upon Him. That’s why He sweat blood. The pressure was that great upon Him. Verse 4, I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Verse 5 goes all the way back into glorifying again. Every step that is taken the world can begin to see what Christ and the Father has done. His lovingkindness is that not anyone should perish but that all should have eternal life. And Christ is big enough to be able to handle and feed all that want to come to Him. The problem is that the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies were not very big because there weren’t many that wanted to labor in that. Before He left the earth Jesus said, Father, I want the glory that I had before the world was, before I had to come down upon the earth, give that glory to Me. And He said, I have manifested Thy name unto the men which thou gavest Me. He’s manifested the Father to the disciples, yet they said how do we know the way? So when Christ left, the Holy Spirit came and brought back memory of all the things Jesus said. Revelation 3:7, And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; That’s in the Holy of Holies; the authority that God is going to bring to and release upon those that have the knowledge of God. Let’s read that again, These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth. If you have the holiness of the Father in you like Jesus did, those that are true to the words that the Father has given to us, have the key of David, which is kingship. David was a forerunner of Christ in kingship. What God has opened up to you, no man can close up. If He closes a door on you, you can’t open it again. He has to open it, or you’re done. The calling in your life is: He opens up a path for you to follow and you must walk down it. If you don’t, and He closes it for you and chooses someone else, that’s it. Verse 8, I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Even though we have just a little strength left, He said they won’t be able to take it. Verse 9, Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. We’ve been in that process for some time, of judging who is righteous and what judgment is coming. A lot of the judgment is just you’re going to receive what you sowed and that’s it. A lot of that judgment has nothing to do with your salvation, you’re already dead; you’re just reaping what you have sown before He destroys you so that you will know He is God. Verse 12, Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. When new Jerusalem comes down, He’s going to give us all new names. Whatever fits to what glory is upon me and upon you. And that all depends on whether you give God the glory and let Him give you the glory that He wants to. Keep pressing on for the glory of God to show up wherever God’s labor is. ![]()
