Who We Are
In 1987, the Lord placed a vision in the heart of Pastor Larry Troyer and he has never been the same. As a pastor, he has opened that vision to those who are hungry and have ears to hear. His desire is for each and every person to have a personal, intimate relationship with the Father, the Creator of all things.
The Lord showed him in a vision that much of the church is not saved. He wept and argued with the Lord saying, ‘But Lord, they’re good people.’ Three times the Lord told him, ‘Much of My church is not saved.’ Pastor Larry has been in a cleansing process for twenty eight years to remove the deceptions of the fallen church from his own life, and to make a way for others to come out of those deceptions that they might truly know how to walk with their Creator, not in the traditions of man, but in the way that was intended from the foundations of the creation. Revelation 18:4 says, “…Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” The Lord’s heart for this hour is for His people to come out of the midst of Babylon.
Early on, Pastor Larry stood on the temple mount in Jerusalem and he heard the Lord say, ‘The name of your church will be Mount Moriah.’ Mount Moriah was a threshing floor, a place where the chaff is removed. Chaff represents the things of this world and the things we labor for that are only vanity. Mount Moriah was also a place of provision and refuge. Moriah means ‘provided by Jehovah.’ We are called to be a place of refuge for those who want to break out of the traditions of man and enter into the kingdom of God.
There are three things at the core of who we are. We have the hope of walking in the Holy of Holies, worshipping and receiving our orders directly from the Father. The Lord also gave a vision of millions of souls being saved, not by evangelism as it is known today, but by the evangelism of His Spirit, where His spirit does the work and the souls are owned by God. Thirdly, being a part of those who will usher in the thousand year reign. In Hebrews chapter four it speaks about the seventh day, the day of rest that has not yet been ushered in. We long for the day that the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord and Savior, that He may once again have rest upon the earth He created.
Scripture says the Lord is coming back for a church without spot, wrinkle, or blemish, so we must have our iniquity (using satan’s power to get what we want) removed, walk in government in our lives, and have the wounds healed if we want to be a part of His bride. The Lord has continued to teach us what it means to be cleansed, and also what it means to have salvation. Salvation is not saying a few words and then you can do whatever you want, but it must come out of a deep brokenness, seeing the wickedness of who we are, and desiring to be transformed. Jesus said in the gospels of Matthew and Mark that he that endures to the end will be saved. It’s only in allowing the Lord to transform us every day, every day giving more to Him, that we will be saved. If we turn back from Him, the righteousness we have done will not be remembered (Ezekiel 18).
We, as the people of God, are called to make up the hedge and stand in the gap. We see the need for spiritual warfare if we are going to make it through to the end and usher in that which is on the Father’s heart for this day and this hour. The physical and the spiritual go hand in hand. To be a warrior, you must have your physical life in order if you are going to have any authority in the realms of the spirit. The only way to receive authority is to be submitted to authority. There are millions of souls held in bondage to satan’s power, and we as His people are called to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. When the power of satan is broken, those who want to be free can come out of their prisons and know the Lord.
We believe not only in priesthood, ministering before the Lord, but also kingship, walking in dominion upon the earth. We were created from the beginning to have dominion upon the earth (Genesis 2), and the earth will labor for us as we walk according to the standards of God’s kingdom that He has set up from the beginning. All of creation is longing for the Sons of God to arise.
Our greatest desire is to walk hand in hand with the Father, the Creator of all, and to heal His heart; to fellowship with Him throughout the endless ages. We long to see His inheritance come forth, that He may once again have a people who desire Him, not for what He can do or give, but for who He is.
