"To enlarge your tent, when God gives you a promise, you have been ordained. If you seek His will on it He will give you the ability to accomplish it and you’ll rise up and get it done. But you have to know His ways because in preparing you have to know what He’s doing to you so you can work with Him. You can’t do it, but you know the One that can and He will even ordain you." Let’s start with Psalm 132. David was never afraid to complain to the Lord about all of his afflictions. It seems like he was always saying, Lord, quit breaking my bones and bring life back to me. Psalm 132:1, Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions: How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob. He uses the mighty God of Jacob rather than Israel. Even in his latter writings he knew that he still has some areas to be refined. Verse 6, Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood. We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool. Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength. Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy. For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed. Sometimes I think people think that if they were anointed of God it would be a lot easier. But anointed means that God owns you. When God owns someone He’s the potter and you’re the clay. Verse 11, The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore. David was anointed of God to do a job. He was chosen. If you’re chosen of God to do something, you’re anointed. And the anointing is different than those that are not anointed. Verse 13, For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. Zion represents kingship. That’s where the kings lived. Verse 14, This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. From verse 13 on, God is responding to David and saying, I have chosen Zion. God called and He has now chosen Zion. He desired it for His habitation. When you are chosen, God puts His habitation in you, even more so in the New Testament than the Old. If God has His habitation in you, you have the power of kingship upon the earth. To have your tent enlarged has to do with your hope. God puts hope in you to enlarge you. And for you to grow and to have a habitation that is growing, you will have to meditate upon it. And if you begin to meditate like Mary did, her soul rejoiced but she meditated in her heart. And that’s a private thing. It’s not something you go around telling people; this is what God is calling me to do, because that could do two things. It elevates you and puts someone else down, and it dismisses the hope that God has placed in others. Maybe God has placed more hope in me than He has in you at this point, and if I speak too much about the hope I have you will say, what good am I because I’m just a little person in God? But God can raise that up. A big oak tree doesn’t start by planting a big oak tree. It starts by planting a seed. Everything in God starts from a very small thing and if you allow it to mature it will become a mighty oak tree. In meditating there is a thankfulness as you watch God move in your heart and soul, changing your life. There is a joy that is coming on you that others may not see for quite a while. But that’s all right. That’s between you and God. That’s what develops in you and Him to begin to enlarge you. As you become enlarged, that enlargement will make room within the house of God to accomplish what God has placed in you as part of the contribution to the church. So the Lord has chosen Zion for His habitation. This is His rest. He’s going to rest and dwell in you. David says, because I have desired it. Verse 15, I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. There will I make the horn of David to bud: A horn represents power and authority. …I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed. If Christ lives in you, it’s like being anointed of God; Christ is power over all things, therefore we are anointed with the presence of the Lord, which is even greater yet than the oil that was given in the Old Testament. We have Jesus Himself, His Spirit, living in us and He’s ordained a lamp. Who is the lamp? Jesus. In John chapter 1 it says He was the light of man but was not recognized as the Light of man, and so they destroyed Him, at least tried to. Verse 17 is saying, I have ordained Jesus to live in you because I have anointed you with My Son. So if you have Christ living in you, you have activated the lamp which is the seven eyes, the seven spirits of God. The reason I talk so much about the seven eyes of God, or the seven spirits, is because Christ lives in me, I have His light in me, and I’ve been ordained and anointed of God to do a work. What a preparation! That’s where the hope is. The hope isn’t in us trying to do it. We can’t do it. But I have great hope in accomplishing the will of God in me because Christ lives in me. Not only does He live in me, but He’s the light for my path in which I go. When I have that light, I don’t stumble and fall and I can accomplish what He wants done. It’s not me doing it but Christ in me. Have you ever heard that before? It’s all through the scripture. Our hope is not in ourselves but our hope is in the One that lives in us which is a lamp that is ordained for us. What you see may be different than what I see to some degree, but it all has the same spiritual power of love from the Father that unites us even though we have separate callings. It unites us all together just our physical body works together. That’s what God is doing in us. He’s giving us a lamp because we are ordained to do something. He’s giving us this lamp that is ordained to accomplish His will in us. The first thing He does is use it to clean you up so you can see what it is that needs to be changed and then you grow into being given a job that you can discern the mind of God through these seven eyes. Then as you get into greater works you begin to have multiple eyes. Every time He gives you a project you hadn’t seen before and all of a sudden your eyes are opened to see this thing, you got a new eye. And that new eye will always be with you. You will always recognize it and you won’t even think about it in your mind. It’s like the white blood cells when you have an infection. Those white corpuscles run to your sore and fight the infections so you don’t get sick. Now how many of you think about that when you cut yourself? White corpuscles, keep going, hurry up! Get over there! No, it just does it. It’s the same way with the seven eyes because it’s the Spirit. Once you learn that, you will always have that in you unless you just totally reject God. Ordaining is to add to the things that God has already given you. Isn’t that awesome!? It makes it that much more precious. And it’s not a respecter of persons. Whoever wants Him, He will make the horn of David to bud. A horn is power, and to bud is to multiply. I’m going to make your horn, the thing that I gave you to accomplish, to begin to bud. I have ordained a lamp for My anointed. Now in the Old Testament God was referring to David and his descendants so that whoever was on the throne under David’s lineage would be blessed and the Children of Israel would be blessed. In the kingdom of God, those that have a lamp, God will take the power and begin to make it bud to prosper you in the thing in which you have been sent. Verse 18, His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish. For that to take place you have to believe and meditate upon the Lord and how He wants to do it. You’ll never know the mind of God unless you meditate. But you have to learn to properly meditate. You can’t just meditate upon yourself, you have to meditate upon the things of God. Psalm 147:19, He showeth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. In other words, God showed to Jacob, the unrefined, the promises that he could have, but he didn’t yet have the anointing of God. His horn hadn’t budded yet. But then the second half, he’s talking about the refined, Israel. It says, his statute, or God’s ways. He shows His ways and the way He judges unto Israel, the refined. How does He do that? Through the seven eyes. You learn the statutes, the ways of God. One of the complaints that God had with His people was that they never knew His ways. He spoke to Ephraim and said, you never really wanted Me and you never really knew My ways. You didn’t understand what I did to bring you into a good place and you fought it and rejected it. The very same thing is happening in the church today. They reject and fight the ways of God because they rejected the word that has light that they can see their problem of not having the ability to do it themselves. That’s what the word does. The word shows you that you can’t do it yourself, but if you come to the Lord, the savior of mankind, the light of mankind, He will give you the ways or statutes of God and the judgments. We think of a judgment as I’m either going to set you free or condemn you. But that’s the last straw. The first part of it is that you have two choices. For you to have wisdom to know the right choice is judgment. You make many judgments every day. A scan tool for a mechanic is like the seven eyes of God for us. You can make good judgments according to the will of God because you know His statutes. You know His ways. One of God’s ways is He doesn’t sit there and jabber to you. He may say one, two, or three words, or not say a thing. He’ll show you His word and if you believe His word, the word will begin to be a light unto your path and you will begin to see it. Psalm 119:65, Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Lord, according unto thy word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word. Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes. The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart. Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law. It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. Affliction teaches us the ways of God. I don’t think anybody that goes through affliction can say they haven’t learned to know some of His ways. And that will help you stay on the right track forever, because you don’t want any more of that affliction. Now let’s look at Daniel 7:2, Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of heaven strove upon the great sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. The first one represents Iraq and is like a lion. The second was like a bear, which is Iran. The third one a leopard which is Greece, and the fourth one is Rome and isn’t represented by a specific animal because it is diverse. And that’s what we want to look at today. Verse 7, After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: The residue represents the remnant. We’re the remnant of what’s left of the church. That’s what the fourth beast is coming after and that’s why without the Lord you can’t make it. …and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. This beast was diverse from the rest; it was like he had several spirits that were very powerful. The first beast was to try to take the place of God, the second beast was to take over your daily activities; the thoughts of man rather than the thoughts of God. The third one was theology and mythical things of the thoughts of man instead of truth, and the fourth is doing what you want versus doing the will of God. That is the diversity and why it’s so much harder. It says in verse 6 that dominion was given to each of the first three beasts. Then the dominion was taken away from the three and given to the fourth beast. The fourth kingdom had four beasts laboring to destroy man and the remnant. Verse 8, I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. In the fourth kingdom all four beasts labored together. It says even though the first three kingdoms were pulled down they weren’t destroyed for a season. So that destruction has not yet come to those four kingdoms until the fourth kingdom is totally torn down. That’s what made this fourth kingdom so destructive; the first three beasts labored in one of the four areas at a time to try to trip you up. But the fourth beast, which is what we are fighting now, is the four beasts laboring to destroy the remnant and the United States so it can take over the world and forfeit satan having to go down into the pit. It’s mankind that has to retake the earth. So the anointing that we talked about through the seven eyes is extremely important. The prophets and the saints of old are not perfect until these four kingdoms are pulled down and destroyed. There is a people of the people of God that will take these kingdoms and possess them forever and ever. We’re not even close to being alone. We are being encouraged. Jesus said I will pray for you. I believe Jesus is interceding for us right now, that we might know His ways, know His precepts, and walk in His light and He will show us how to get there to the end. Verse 9, I beheld till the thrones were cast down (meaning all four of them), and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. All four of the beasts were destroyed but not all until the very end. Verse 13, I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. He is the Lord of hosts and He has the right to fight with us because He was man also. Back to verse 7,what the beast wants to do, because of his strength, he has great iron teeth and he’s going to chew us up and spit us out if he can do it. He’s going to devour, that is, destroy, break in pieces, and stamp the residue with his feet. That’s why when the stone was whirled at the statue (in Daniel 2), they threw it at the feet. If you kill the feet you destroy all of the kingdoms. What has to happen in our day and in our labor is to own the feet. God is laboring to bring us to a place of dominion of our feet. We do not yet have the dominion. From the point we begin to have dominion we will begin to really win, and win quickly. It has started. It isn’t that a work hasn’t been done because the swamp is being destroyed; it’s just not nearly completed. In this battle the enemy tries to bring confusion and division; all the things that he’s good at because he doesn’t have dominion. God took the dominion away from him in the heart of the earth. Jesus has it. The only thing satan can do is bring division, confusion, infighting, and the character of satan in us, which is why the church must be one. And your particular calling and gifting is being built in the middle of that process. But we don’t stop the unity of the fellowship in the church because that’s what helps each one come into their place. The fellowship of the Spirit is water to your soul to what you’re called to do. Water takes care of beans. Water takes care of wheat. It takes care of corn, it takes care of grass. But it’s all different. But water still does the same thing. It grows that which is planted in you. Then we go on in Daniel 7:17, These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even for ever and ever. Here he’s saying “kingdom,” which is singular. It is the kingdom of satan. We know the truth about the fourth kingdom, which means the first, second, third and fourth kingdom. They all were laboring to do the same thing, that is, to destroy the saints. They are trying to destroy you. We will end up destroying his kingdom, that is, the kingdom of satan. Not two or three kingdoms, just one. We will destroy the kingdom of satan by fully giving all of our parts, that is, our feet. Jesus told the disciples, your other parts are clean but you need to have your feet washed. You need to understand that you have to follow Me or you won’t make it. Verse 19, Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days came and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. The judgment was given to the saints of the most High when they were qualified to be able to judge; that is to have your eyes firmly in a good place to know the will of God and how to do it. If you tried to do it before it would be like a buzz saw. You get hammered and spit out because you’re not doing it the way God wants you to. How many have ever seen little kids do something you know is going to hurt? That’s the way God is with us. He knows that if you would go in and do what you want to do you would get smacked around and He doesn’t want that to happen to us. So He waits and teaches us how to do it so we can be qualified and mature enough to do it, then He gives us the judgment to do it. Verse 23, Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great works against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. It’s going to be given to the people of the saints but Jesus is going to be our head. He’s going to be our leader and all dominions will serve and obey Him. Now it’s going back to dominions. satan only has one dominion. But when his kingdom is pulled down, once again there will be many dominions as God made it. There will be many people that will be given overseeing jobs which are called dominions of what God wants done. When the feet have been taken away from satan he crumbles and falls; he’s done. So the important thing is to have the statutes of God, which are His ways. Then your feet will follow His ways and you will defeat satan by following the Lord’s ways and rejecting satan’s statutes, which is in the feet. Statutes bring activation. If you know what you are supposed to do and you get all excited about it but don’t do anything it will never happen. To enlarge your tent, when God gives you a promise, you have been ordained. If you seek His will on it He will give you the ability to accomplish it and you’ll rise up and get it done. But you have to know His ways because in preparing you have to know what He’s doing to you so you can work with Him. You can’t do it, but you know the One that can and He will even ordain you. That means, God with you. God is with you. Go do it. You’re ordained of God, therefore, go forth and accomplish what God has called you to be. If He is with you, then He will make room for you in the church. That’s the hope we have before us.
