Those that are quickened into the realm of the Spirit that minister in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus to the Father, this is their description: They are without an earthly father, without an earthly mother, without a descendant, having neither beginning of days nor the end of life, but made like unto the Son of God abide a priest continually. The promises of God have to be in your heart and in your soul. The world has the lust of the flesh in their soul but in our soul is the hope of eternity. It takes the hope of eternity in your soul before you can sojourn with God. When Noah was born his father and grandfather said that Noah would remove the vexations that were on the earth from the giants and the fallen angels. It was removed but it didn’t last long until wickedness was on the earth again. Anyone that is born in the quickening spirit to be in heavenly places has more power and authority than what Abraham, David, and all the prophets of the Old Testament had. They could only do so much and God protected them to a degree, but God has given us greater authority than anyone in the Old Testament; not just for us to have more power, but to accomplish something. But you’ll not get a lot of power in just a day or two, or even a week or month. It comes through testing because the power that He’s giving now in this hour is very great. We will do more than what Jesus did on the earth. That doesn’t mean that we’re going to be able to forgive sins like Jesus does; He destroyed the enemy’s power but we have to remove it and take back the dominions and the nations. Genesis 12:1, Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: We are blessed today because Abram listened to God and left his country where all of his friends were, his family, and his father’s house. We have to hang on to that and we will see that Jesus required the same thing when He brought in the new covenant. Then in Genesis 14:14, And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan. Because of Abram’s allegiance to the Lord, there were families and people that recognized that he was blessed because he was obedient to God and they joined Abram in his journey. It could have been that he had a thousand or even two thousand people who were with him. It was a very large group. At any rate, he had 318 men that were able to fight. So when Abram found that Lot was removed he took after them right away. Verse 15, And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus. And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people. And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king’s dale. The king of Sodom said to Abram, I want the souls back. He owned the souls. He said, you can have all the wealth but give me back the people. Verse 18, And Melchizedek king of Salem (which is the king of peace) brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. Now, Melchizedek didn’t go out with Abram. The reason he didn’t go out with Abram is because he had no family upon the earth. Verse 19, And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: Jesus, (I’m just going to call him Jesus instead of Melchizedek) came out and blessed Abram because he began to destroy wickedness on the earth. We don’t destroy wickedness the way he did. He just slaughtered because the law was physical. But today because we live in a spiritual environment and have the power to destroy the spiritual forces that own people, they don’t have to be physically destroyed, but their powers are destroyed. Jesus called Abram possessor of heaven and earth. Now, you and I both know that Abram did not have total possession of heaven and earth in the physical or in the spiritual. But God sees you and me in a different light that what you see yourself. He called Gideon a mighty warrior, but I’m sure Gideon looked around to see who he was talking to, because he was afraid. To physically go do something was a big deal because he didn’t have any army or anything. The first thing he did was destroy the totem poles of his dad, and knocked over the gods that he made. But he did it at night. So God saw Gideon as a mighty warrior if he would receive the promises. When the Lord came to Abram, He said, you are possessor of heaven and earth. Now, that’s prophesying into his heart and into his soul. It’s important to understand that you believe from the heart, but your possessions are in your soul, because your soul is eternal. In the Old Testament, and even in the New Testament Jesus talked about the heart. But the covenant of the heart begins to feed the soul with eternal possessions. What happens if you would receive a seed of promise in your soul and it starts to grow and become what was prophesied? That’s what Abram did. He received the word that he was lord of heaven and earth and it went from his heart into his soul because he sojourned. Sojourning is in your soul. If you’re not quickened into the new covenant, you fight the lust of your flesh and the pride of life. But if you allow the promises to enter into the soul you begin to sojourn. God is the anchor of your soul. The anchor to your soul is the Lord’s promises in it. And you believe it and it grows so that you become what was prophesied in you. God had to empty my soul, I mean truly empty it, so that He could fill it with His promises. And then He poured out His promises upon me. Day after day after day He filled my soul with His promises. But at that point I didn’t really know what that meant. Let’s read verse 19 again, what was prophesied in Abram’s soul, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. Now, what does it mean by “Blessed be the most high God?” It means that there is a fellowship between Abram and the most high God; Abram is fulfilling the desires of God and God is loving the one that performed it. That is a fellowship that is beyond the human ability to love. Chapter 12 was the beginning of Abram’s soul being filled with the prophesies of who he was and those promises are being strengthened in Chapter 14. Verse 21, And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the Lord, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth. We’ll see later that the Lord was Jesus and the most high God was His Father. Verse 23, That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich: Abram let the others take some of the spoil but he was not going to pollute what was put in his soul. His desire was not to make money. God was going to give him riches, no one else. Verse 24, Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion. Genesis 15:1, After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. He says several times that if our soul has been given over to the Lord so we would sojourn with the Lord to fulfill His will, there is a time coming that God will bless us with a very great reward. The rewards are also in your soul. All the rewards that you will receive will be in your soul when the Lord looks at it. Your works will follow you, and if your works have a promise of reward, you’ll receive it. Then he says in verse 8, And he said, Lord God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? Then he makes a covenant again with God to make sure that the promise is set deep and strong in his soul. The promises that you have are an anchor to your soul. Genesis 24 is where Esau is going to be blessed by his father Isaac, except his mother didn’t like Esau, but liked Jacob. Esau carelessly did what he wanted; he was careless in what he did and lost his inheritance. On the other side of it, Jacob wanted that and was willing to risk his life to get it. How did Jacob receive the blessing from Isaac? It’s in verse 4, And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. Before I couldn’t understand why they would bless their offspring out of their soul, because out of the soul comes lust and everything else along with it. Abraham kept Isaac from the world that they lived in so that he was not aware of all the things that went on. In Isaac’s soul was the promises. When he was twelve he laid on the sticks and said, father, where is the sacrifice? And Abraham passed on to Isaac all the promises that were in his soul before he died. Then when Isaac was about to die he was going to pass on the promises that were in his soul to Esau. Except Esau loved the world more than he did the promises. He didn’t hold the promises special and his mom knew that. So Jacob received the blessings, all the blessings that Abraham and Isaac had received into their souls. Now, what’s in your soul? What kind of promises are you going to pass on to your generation? Have the fleshly things been cut away from your soul so you can pass the promises in a purity that would carry on from generation to generation? The promises of God are the anchor to your soul. The reason that every generation is worse than the parents is because their soul is not cleansed to receive the promises, until it gets so bad that the generation is really wicked, and there will be some that will stop and say, we’re way off. Then they go back to God and they find God and anchor their soul deep into God again. Then the cycle begins again. You must cleanse your soul to receive the promises from the generations before you that God has promised. The only way you’re going to make it is to have those promises in your soul. If you don’t, you’ll be like all the other generations. You may keep a little of it, but slowly you’ll go back and you’ll lose the promises of the generations. So back in Genesis 27, Isaac said, make a good meal and bring it to me, that I may eat and my soul may bless you before I die. When Isaac blessed Jacob, he poured out all of the promises in his soul on Jacob, and when Esau came, what did Isaac say to him? Esau said, father, bless me now, here is your meat. And Isaac said, who are you? Isaac shook like a leaf. Who did I bless? Who received that blessing from my soul? And he said, Jacob. He has it all. Jacob had every bit of it. And Esau said, but father, don’t you have any left for me? He said, no. So he went on to bless Esau with the fields blessing him while he was alive. That’s the best he could do. Genesis 35:17, And it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also. And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin. And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem. Her soul, when she was dying, parted from her being and her flesh went back to dust and the breath of God went back to the One that gave it, and her soul was left. That’s why Jesus said, it’s an easy thing to bring back the dead. All He has to do is call them up and they will take on the form and the likeness of who they created themselves to be. Matthew 10:27, What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. The promises that are in your soul will be kept for the day of the Lord. If someone would kill you or you would die, the things in your soul will not be destroyed. No one can take it from you. Verse 30, But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. If you’re ashamed of being called a Christian, God will be ashamed of you. The reason is because your heart wants to do what’s right but you choose not to do it, therefore the promises that are in the soul are beginning to be forfeited. Verse 34, Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. When God spoke to Abram, what did He tell him to do? Get out of the country, leave your kindred, and get out of your father’s house because they don’t want what I’m going to give you. It’s the Lord that does it. Anyone that tries to own someone’s soul will be in trouble with God. God looks at every child as His. So if you love any of your family more than you love God you’re not worthy to be in heaven. At the beginning of Jesus ministry, what did His mother do? They were at a wedding and Mary went to Jesus and told Him, they don’t have any more wine. Then she told the men around Him, do what He says. And Jesus looked at Mary and said, What do I have to do with you? I listen to My Father, Mama, not you. And yet when it was all said and done I believe that the Father said, go ahead and do it, or Jesus wouldn’t have done it. So then He made the water into wine. When Jesus was ready to go to the cross, at the last supper, what did He do? He introduced the second testament of His Father. The first testament was in Abraham’s soul that was passed from generation to generation and they had the promise of someday being lord of lords and king of kings upon the earth. But in the New Testament Jesus served the bread and the wine, representing His flesh and His blood, that He was going to change from the physical to the spiritual realm. If we participate in feeding upon Him, we will be quickened into the realm of the Spirit and live there like Melchisedec. Then the second thing, He said to the disciples, You’ve been with me for three or four years now, and you’re clean, but your feet aren’t. I’m going to wash your feet so your feet will do what My Father wants done. From time to time we wash our feet and we take communion. We don’t do it every week because doing it often like that makes it common. But every once in a while we need to do it to remind us that we are of the birthing of Melchisedec. We are of the family of Melchisedec. John 15:1, I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. We feed on Jesus but the Father prunes us and takes care of us. Jesus said I’ve come that you might know the Father. Jesus is our friend to help us prepare ourselves to be worthy to go in to the King of kings and Lord of lords of everything, which is His Father. That is described in Daniel 7:9-10. It says there is a fiery stream that flows from the throne of God. It’s the promises of God that are in me that keeps me going day and night without rest. It doesn’t matter because that which is in my soul drives me. I’ve said many times, Lord, if nobody else wants to do it, I will. There’s a drive in me that I’m willing to jump right back in as soon as I have a victory. I could sit around and soak in the sun for a while but I don’t have time. My soul is full of the promises and the promise that is the most driving force in me is the souls that God wants to save. Hebrews 7:1, For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. I believe the Son of God is Melchisedec that was made in the likeness of the Son of God. Verse 4, Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham. There was nobody on the earth who had greater promises than what Abraham did that’s recorded in the Bible, and yet it says that Melchisedec was greater than Abraham because he blessed Him by giving Him tithes and offerings. If you have been quickened, your family is not what you need. Why? Because it says that He has come to bring a sword to divide those that don’t want Him with those that do. And those that don’t want Him, leave that country, leave that kindred, and leave that household. Otherwise you are not quickened; your soul is not quickened into eternity. That would be a scary place for me. That’s why few are saved. They continue from generation to generation. We have a saying, the apples don’t fall far from the tree, which is, your generations hold you in bondage to what they did and the mistakes they made. When the Lord revealed to me for the first time what Melchisedec really was and what it was for me, my spirit soared beyond anything; I couldn’t hardly contain it. The enemy doesn’t want any of you to know what your soul has the capacity to be. How many think there are a few things that need to change? Things need removed that are more important than your soul acquiring the will of God that carries you into eternity. So that you are without father, without mother, without decent, having neither beginning of days or end of life but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. We are called to be kings and priests unto God, like Jesus, because we’ve been quickened into the realm of the Spirit. When we are quickened we become like Melchisedec. Now I know why my soul is driven. Because in it is a tree of the promises that God has made to put in my heart. Then the heart labors for the will of God that transfers the promises to the soul. You have to have it in your heart first and as the heart labors it is transferred. Your labor then, which follows you and is only way you can get eternity, is to have the promises transfer from the heart into the soul. That’s what He puts in your heart; the covenants of promise. Then it goes from there into your soul and when you die the soul separates then from your body and the breath of God in you, because they are polluted. Our soul can be tormented by the lust of the flesh, and people will hate you because of the covenants of the soul, because the anchor when it’s solid will not be moved. There are wars against your soul, and you are vexed in your soul. The enemy hammers at your soul to get you to give up the promises of the living God that are given to you for eternity if you make it through to the end. You have to get the promises in your heart, and then apply that in the labor for the Lord that is eternal, therefore it goes in your soul, and your soul (which is you – no flesh, and no breath of God), will carry the promises when you stand before the Lord and He’ll look at each labor. The Bible says I will reward you if you do My will. He is our very great reward. God above all is not only my very great reward but we need to be like Abraham and not take polluted money because our trust is in God.
