After they crossed the Red Sea, it says the Lord healed them as they went through the waters but they never recognized it. God redeemed them from Egypt but they didn’t allow Egypt to be buried in the sea; they carried it through with them. When you go through your Red Sea experience, you’re to leave the things that were not right behind so that when you come out and are redeemed, you will not carry the things of the past. Psalm 118:25, Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. I began to study a little bit more about being blessed and being redeemed. Let’s break this verse down a little bit. In the New Testament we would say that we have blessed you in the house of the Lord, but also everywhere we go because we are the temple of the living God. In the Old Testament that was not the case. We have become the temple of the Lord, so it would be right to say in the New Testament, Blessed be he that comes with the presence of the Lord. There’s a lot of difference, because presence means wherever you go and whatever you do you are sharing God’s presence with whomever you are around. The name tells you what character you’re talking about. You’re talking about the character of God, or of Jesus, that’s His name. We might say, we come in the name of the Lord, or we declare that you’re to leave in Jesus’ name. But it’s difficult for Jesus to do something for you when you don’t have Him with you. The name is the presence of who He is, and His presence is what Adam and Eve had in the beginning. From time to time God would come, and one day He came to Adam and Eve in the cool of the day and called out to Adam, where are you. They would always meet and be together for a while, but this time they weren’t there. Then God asked them, did you eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? We know that story. So at that point, for them to get back to their original state, they had to be redeemed. It doesn’t say they were ever redeemed back to that original state. God took Abraham and promised him that He would bring them back to a place that they could live where it was not made by human hands. And as God took the children of Israel along, the children of Israel began to realize that whatever man touched, they polluted. When they made an altar they were not to take a chisel and try to make it beautiful, but just take some stones and put them in a pile because flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Your purpose is not to do it on your own, but to allow God to come and redeem you to a place that you were called to before the foundations. We’re being redeemed from our generations and what we put in and the customs and the things that are manmade. It’s very important in this hour because God is looking for a people that will allow Him to cleanse them by the redemption of Jesus; to be redeemed back to a place where we have authority on the earth. If we haven’t been redeemed to a place that was originally given to mankind and not satan, we aren’t fully redeemed yet. Our call is to find how God set everything up, to be redeemed in such a place we can have authority once again upon the earth. When Jesus went down to the heart of the earth He broke satan’s power, but the only way we can have that power is for Christ, who is our redeemer, to be living in us. Without that, we can’t be redeemed to the point of the original state of man and his authority. Jacob was redeemed back to the state of Abraham to receive the promises. Jacob went 20 years to get two wives and to get a lot of animals and earthly wealth, but he didn’t have authority over his brother who walked in the flesh. Jacob received the promise of a greater thing. It was Jacob that wrestled with God at the brook before he went on because he knew his brother was coming. They fought all night and he was redeemed to a state that his father had, that is, a protection as he journeyed through the land to see what Abraham was going to inherit. God put Jacob’s hip out of place so he couldn’t walk correctly, he couldn’t run, he just hobbled around. In that way he had to depend upon God to redeem him with supernatural power to protect him because he could not protect himself. So today God is looking for a people that will allow Him to work through them, and His glory will protect them in the days to come. I am not afraid of what is coming upon the earth. It’s not because of my power but it’s because of His glory that He puts upon His people that are being redeemed. Adam and Eve had a glory upon them that caused all the earth to obey them. It isn’t by force that you are protected. There was a day in the United States that enough people loved the Lord and allowed the Lord to protect them that they didn’t need a wall of protection. Today, because of the sinfulness of man in the United States, God’s protection is continually being lifted and we need a wall of protection. At this point the glory of the Lord is being lifted off the United States to a place that, if it continues, we will be like third world countries where there is complete and total chaos. That’s the price that the citizens of the United States are paying because of the sin they walk in. The glory cannot protect them because they are not glory carriers. We could look at Lot’s wife. God was redeeming Lot when Sodom and Gomorrah were going to be destroyed. They lived there and couldn’t help but have the smell of Sodom and Gomorrah upon them. It says they were vexed every day. God was redeeming them and bringing them out of Sodom and Gomorrah so He could destroy it and that Lot would have a new start in a different place. But instead of that, they had so much of Sodom and Gomorrah on them they didn’t trust or have faith that God would protect them. Lot’s wife loved where she was at. When she turned around and looked at what she loved which was being destroyed, she was destroyed herself because God was redeeming them and she refused to be redeemed. One of the things in being redeemed is that you don’t look back to the old. God is redeeming you from that into a place of the glory of God to be upon you and if you want to look back and long for that which you had before, God can’t redeem you. Exodus 6:6, Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments. God says, My arm is stretched out for you. I want to redeem you to where I wanted you to be in the first place. So no one has an excuse of not being redeemed to a place of authority that He purposed for you before the earth ever was. It’s hard for us as mankind to think that’s how long we lived in God’s plan but we did. I lived in God’s plan and you did too. So He said, I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments. I’m going to give you the right way to go. Every day we make judgments. “I’m going to go this way today, because the traffic is held up due to construction.” That was a judgment, and you make that judgment because it’s a better way to go. It’s the way to do it right then. In judgments we find our way. God gives us the correct judgment of what we are to do on a daily basis for us to be redeemed; to walk out of what we were into what He purposed us to be. Exodus 7:4, But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments. God has an army that is not of men. That army is the judgments that God put upon Egypt. Those same judgments that He used on Egypt He’s going to use in the last day upon mankind on this earth. We are beginning to come into those judgments and it will get stronger as time goes on. What He’s wanting to do in those judgments is to bring you into a place of redemption so you can be what you were called to be and possess your gate of entrance into heaven being what you were called to be. The children of Israel did not fight Egypt. God did with His army of ten different plagues. Verse 5, And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them. Even after the ten plagues the children of Israel were afraid to come out and God had to begin to teach them faith when He dried up the waters of the Red Sea and they crossed on dry land. After they crossed, it says the Lord healed them as they went through the waters but they never recognized it. God redeemed them from Egypt but they didn’t allow Egypt to be buried in the sea; they carried it through with them. When you go through your Red Sea experience, you’re to leave the things that were not right behind so that when you come out and are redeemed, you will not carry the things of the past. That is now cut off and removed from you because God is redeeming you to do a particular job that He originally called for. Christ is our redeemer and we should have such joy in worshipping God that He has redeemed us. When we come to the place where we let all of those things go, redemption will come very quickly. God is saying with a stretched out arm, I will redeem you from all of that which is of the past and I will bring you forth so you can walk and stand at the gate that was prepared for you to enter into eternity. At the end, God will have an army of the redeemed that have authority as it did in the beginning so that they can ride with Christ and make all things new again upon the earth, and remove the wickedness that exists. He will give us special tools that will be extremely useful and exactly what we need to do the job God has called us to do. Ruth is an excellent example of redemption. Ruth 1:15, And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law. And Ruth said, entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God. Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me. When Ruth told Naomi I will be where you are, and your God is my God, what did God do to Ruth? Not only was He there with a stretched out arm to redeem her from her sins, but to redeem her from the very foundations of her generations that refused God, and He accepted her in as part of the children of Israel. Not only that, but the lineage of Jesus. That’s how willing He is to redeem. Ruth 4:10, Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day. Because Ruth was married to Naomi’s son, she became a part of Israel, and she wanted to redeem Naomi and her two boys to the inheritance. They needed to be redeemed because when judgment came to Israel they ran off to Moab where they didn’t have to be judged, and God killed all three of the men. But Ruth came along to redeem what the father and the two sons were not willing to do. So not only will God redeem you back to a good place, but He will redeem you all the way back to the promise of Abraham where they were promised the promises of God. At the gate of the city that is built without hands she redeemed that family back to that state as if the father and the two sons didn’t do anything wrong. Verse 11, And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem. Verse 21, And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David. Three generations from what she did, God accepted that son from Ruth to be one of the highest places that the Old Testament could have, being part of the lineage of Jesus. Ruth was an example of Christ to come. That’s why she was put in there. She was willing to have a baby boy and bring it to Naomi and hand it to her and say, this is now your son. This is your son that has been redeemed. God will also bring back what was intended for you. Not only that, when the redeeming takes place, even prophecies that did not happen can be redeemed because it was redeemed for them at the gate. That’s the power of redemption that we have before us today if we will do something, and we will see in a little bit what that is. 2 Samuel 7:23, And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods? God redeemed them from the land of Egypt and their gods, but the old generation didn’t recognize that redemption. They carried Egypt’s gods with them and they wanted to go back. That was a wicked thing so therefore God said, you are not going to enter into the promised land because I redeemed you and healed you and you didn’t like it. Psalm 49:5, Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about? They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him. Many people think they can do that; if they just do what their pastor says then everything is alright. But the bottom line is every person must have a relationship with the Father and the Son in a way that they know they must be redeemed by Christ and not man. You cannot receive eternity through man’s flesh and blood. The only flesh and blood you can be redeemed by is the one who had no sin, who is Jesus. Verse 8, (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) When you are redeemed, if you stay in that place of believing that you’ve been redeemed and begin to learn to walk in that redemption, the iniquities about you will cease forever. Verse 15, But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. David knew in his heart that God would redeem his soul, and when Christ went down to the heart of the earth He redeemed all of those that were redeemable. Mark 10:15, Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. There is the key where most people have failed. They’ve not understood what it means to become a child in adulthood. When you were born on this earth you slowly learned. Any mother realizes that the struggle the child has is learning to be able to operate in the world it was born into. It’s hard. It’s not easy. But as they grow up, they live in that world and know how to live in it, including using iniquity. But when you’re born into the kingdom of God, you have to start all over and leave the old world behind and come as a little baby, a little child, that has to learn how to function in the heavenly realms so that they won’t mix iniquity with the glory of God. Most of the church is in a mixture that is polluted, but to be redeemed is to come out of that pollution and learn to live in the presence of God. That’s why it says in Matthew 5:48 to be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect. How are you going to be perfect? If you die to this world and come as a babe and learn the ways of heavenly things where you don’t use iniquity to get your way but worship the redeemer who has put you in a new place and a new hope and a new call. Everything about that is opposite of what you used to do in the past. And the things you did in the past are not usable in this place of redemption. You have to let it all go. When you let it all go, then you can grow up in heavenly things and then you can enter into the gate you were called to begin with. Can you see that’s a problem with the church today? They come and get redeemed with the baggage of the earthly things and try to incorporate it with heavenly things. But you can’t do it. Jesus said you can’t enter into the kingdom of God unless you become as a little child. You start all over again because you don’t know how it is in the heavenly things. You have to be a little child and be willing to be taught and be nurtured by Christ and the Holy Spirit. When He redeems you and you come to Him as a little child, releasing all of the world and just wanting Him, He will raise you up as a godly child to inherit the kingdom of God. Then you will begin to grow and know the things of heaven, and one of the judgments you make is that the iniquities of the past are gone and you don’t pick them up again. If you haven’t done that, you’re in trouble. When Jesus said something, that’s the way it will be. Jesus came down on the earth and lived on the earth, but He grew up in the heavenly realms. He stayed perfect, but it wasn’t easy. He was being tormented on all sides, just like we are, to try to take us out of being rebirthed into that new world with new abilities such as the seven eyes. That’s why it’s so important to have the seven eyes. Anyone that is redeemed should be able to start functioning and learn how to use the seven eyes and move into multiple eyes. 1 Peter 1:18, Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Verse 22, Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently. You’ve purified your souls by being redeemed by God. And to the degree that you let the world go is the degree you won’t have to fight when you’re redeemed. It’s a journey to be redeemed, but God will lead you. Revelation 5:9, And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nations; and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. That sums it up right there. That’s who He wants us to become. Kings and priests upon the earth to have power over satan and all those that want to serve him, to make them non-effective. The earth at some point, when it’s renewed, will be like heaven, because there will be no sin. Right now the earth has not been redeemed, but the people on the earth have the opportunity and the power to be redeemed through Christ to be kings and priests forever in the presence of the Lord.
