How was it that Daniel, a young man, could go to a land where there were all kinds of gods, and Nebuchadnezzar served satan, and yet he was still able to function and do what he was able to do? I believe the answer to that is that the things in Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar were not familiar to Daniel. As long as he stayed close to the Lord that stuff didn’t bother him and he was able to function and to do what God had him to do.
Daniel chapter 2 describes four kingdoms and these four kingdoms fight against you serving the Lord. To have a revival in the land all four of these kingdoms have to be torn down because most of the church is functioning in them and is not saved. They don’t even know they’re not saved. They think they are but the difference between righteousness and religion is extremely important to understand so that we can discern and take the double edged sword to divide that which is flesh and that which is spirit.
So let’s look at Daniel 2, starting in verse 1, And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him. Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king. The dream that he had was so terrifying to him, yet he couldn’t remember what he had dreamed. Verse 3, And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream. Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation. The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: Do you ever have a dream and wake up in the morning and forget what you dreamed? Well that’s what happened to the king. …If ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill. But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honor: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof. They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it. The king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me. But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof. He said, I know what you’ll do. You’ll stall around until I lose interest in it and I go and do something else and then you’re set free of it. Does that sound like any swamp you know? Verse 10, The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean. And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh. Isn’t it interesting that they even called their flesh flesh? Why would one that is a heathen call their body flesh? That’s because everything is prophetic and everything comes from the kingdom of satan or the kingdom of God and so they knew that their bodies were flesh. Verse 12, For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. You don’t tell the king what to do. But that’s what they were doing. Verse 13, And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain. Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king’s guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon. What are counsel and wisdom? They are part of the seven eyes. Verse 15, He answered and said to Arioch the king’s captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel. Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions. Now, do you think you would get on your face and cry out to the Lord to find out the answer? That puts a little bit of an emergency on you to hear from God. Verse 18, That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. When God shows you something through the seven eyes, the first thing that you should do is to thank Him for revealing to you the things that need to happen because it does two things. One, you’re thanking God for giving it, and the second thing is that you’re acknowledging that you couldn’t come up with it, He had to do it. That puts you in a whole different realm of you versus Him. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven. He also described which God gave it to him; the God of heaven. Verse 20, Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: So he used counsel to get the answer and now he’s going to use might to keep him alive, along with wisdom. Verse 21, And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: Without understanding knowledge does you no good. There are some people that don’t have any understanding but in school they get straight A’s. But when they get out in life they can’t prosper. You don’t have to prosper in school to become prosperous in the world. You have to have understanding. And you get understanding by knowing God and Him teaching you why things are the way they are and what has to happen to change them. That’s understanding. And then you have knowledge to be able to perform the task that’s before you. To have the knowledge of God is the highest level but first He has to give you your love towards Him. Daniel loved God. And then Daniel walked in wisdom and counsel so he could go to the king and say, I don’t know what it is but I know a God that lives in heaven that can tell me the answer to your dream. And then he comes and begins to worship the Lord after he finds out the answer. If you can walk in the wisdom and might of God, you can accomplish whatever He wants done. But you need counsel along the way to continue to teach you understanding so that it can be accomplished. Knowledge is like getting in a car and turning the key on and knowing how to use all those digital things and to be able to go down the road, steer it, stop it, everything, that’s knowledge. But if you have trouble with your car and you have no understanding, you can’t fix it. That’s the difference between knowledge and understanding. But if you have understanding, then you can fix it. And if you can’t, you have to find someone that has understanding. Verse 22, He revealeth the deep and secret things: 1 Corinthians 2 says He will show us the deep things of God. Daniel got started in life by being in a place where if he didn’t find out what the dream was his head was coming off. He tells his three friends back at the house, we have a problem. We’re going to be dead tomorrow if we don’t find it out. So he says, Verse 22, He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. In other words, the things that are in darkness that you don’t know, He has the light to show you. We have a light to know what’s in darkness, and that light is Jesus. Jesus is the light of man. If he lives in you, you see the path that you need to go but you don’t just see it until you have come to the place that you are shedding off the world so that you can go when you see where you’re supposed to go. You don’t have a choice. “Lord, show me what I’m supposed to do and I’ll tell you yes or no.” No, that’s not the way He works. If you want to follow Me then I’ll tell you what you have to do. Verse 23, I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter. Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon: he went and said thus unto him; Destroy not the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation. And Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation. The king answered and said unto Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof? Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. He starts out by removing him from being in the middle of anything. There is a God in heaven that tells me these secrets and it’s not for me to know, but God has given this dream to you for you to know what’s coming in the latter days. …Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these; As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass. But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king. I don’t know any more than anybody else. But God has given it to me so you would know the interpretation of it. …and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart. Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. The size of it was frightening. The image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. The gold represents God the Father. God rules alone. And silver is Jesus, His Son, that is also precious, but Jesus did not try to take over His Father’s throne. In fact, it’s the opposite. Jesus wants the Father to be in charge. In chapter 15 of 1 Corinthians it says when the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of Jesus, then Jesus is going to go to the Father and hand back the authority that He gave man because Jesus is a man as well, which qualifies Him to take back the earth through His servants on the earth, and in doing that, He said that My Father would be Lord of everything. That’s the humility of Jesus. He created everything but He created it through the command of the Father. And brass represents God bringing judgment and cleansing where you can’t. We will look at what the iron and clay represent later. So these four things satan has a kingdom for on the earth, fighting to keep you from receiving the rewards that God had prepared for each one of you from the foundation because he can’t be redeemed. There is no redemption for fallen angels. They knew God and chose not to want Him. We didn’t have that choice. We’re here in a world that is wicked. But in my creation He made a way for me to escape the world if I want to. Everyone has that. You can say, I don’t know how to get out. Well, you can do the same thing I did. Keep crying out. I cried out for a year and a quarter. I went through three weeks of depression that when I got up in the morning and when I laid my head down at night I didn’t know what I had done that day. That’s what it took to break me from the world that I lived in, to change me.
So the head of this statue was gold. satan wants to be your god. Not the living God, but the god of deception. And the first area is represented by Iraq. Nebuchadnezzar wanted to be god and Saddam Hussein wanted to be god. And it’s still there. We have fought this kingdom but it’s still not totally defeated and I will tell you why a little further on. The chest of the statue was silver, which is represented by Iran. And in the chest where the ribs are, is where the living things that keep you alive on a daily basis are. Your lungs, your stomach, your heart… That was of silver, representing Jesus. Jesus wants to live in our hearts. And there is a protection there with ribs. Satan wants to fill you full of religion and not righteousness. The third kingdom is represented by Greece; man’s philosophy and theology and not God’s. And the third thing then is the area of the loins. And that is the place where life comes. What has happened today is that satan has caused the flesh to become so craving that the area of the loins and reproduction is not holy and sacred anymore but it is just to fulfill your fleshly desire and so satan has polluted you from understanding truth because that’s where it comes from. Your bowels. “I have a gut feeling.” Your gut feeling is like your conscience. If it’s corrupt it doesn’t do you any good. And so in that place you have rebirth, life, and it’s also where you receive life from God. And if it’s polluted, how can you receive life from God? And the fourth area then is the feet. It says it’s made of part iron and part clay. We will touch on that later. Then, in verse 34, Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. So there was a rock that was hewn out of a stone and this stone was hurled at the feet of this big statue, and it came crumbling down. Verse 35, Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. What follows the judgments is that the righteousness of God is going to fill all the earth, which is the stone. That’s why I believe that we are nearer to the end than what we think. God is really moving. He’s moving fast and things are happening very quickly. Verse 36, This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. Our job is to conquer these four kingdoms. The only way the Lord is going to come back is when these four kingdoms are destroyed. But what does the church today teach? They teach that Jesus is going to come back and straighten everything out. He is back. He said, the world will see Me no more but you shall see Me. That means that those that are loving Him, He will show Himself to them, and that He will direct you how to destroy the kingdoms in your life first, and then begin to destroy the kingdoms of this world and when they’re all destroyed then God will come back after this stone, who is Jesus, smites the whole earth.
Let’s look in Zechariah 3:7, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by. Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes. The stone is Jesus that was whirled against this monstrous statue that destroyed the four kingdoms. And so it will be Jesus that does it but He’ll do it through His people on the earth. And He’ll do it by the seven eyes that are on the stone. …behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree. When Jesus destroys the four kingdoms through you and me, we will be under the vine and under the fig tree and just resting because the earth will produce for us and the curse of labor will be gone once again like it was in the garden of Eden. And then we will be in the thousand year reign. Then in Revelation 2:17 (the church of understanding), He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, Those that overcome the world, God says, I’m going to feed you supernaturally, and I’m going to give you a white stone, and in the stone, a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. There are some things that I do that I don’t tell anyone because that’s between me and the Lord. You’re the only one that will truly know what it is you’re supposed to be doing and He’ll teach you through the seven eyes.
Let’s go back to Daniel 2 now, Verse 35 I want to look at something we just skimmed over, when the stone hit the statue, Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together. So the kingdom of satan wanting to be god of religion and the philosophy, has not yet fully been broken until the legs are put out from underneath it. It says it was destroyed together. And it became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. Verse 38, And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. Now, verse 40 is very important too. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. The iron represents demonology filling the people with what they are doing. And today this kingdom of demonology that is in the feet is rampant in America and it’s called the swamp. That’s what it is and they won’t give up. They keep blasting and forcing and hammering. And we can’t give up but we must continue to pray for our president that he doesn’t give up to the swamp. The swamp has manifest themselves and God is releasing judgment and we’re going to see what happens this coming year with all of the wicked, that they will be dismantled. This is the year of dismantling the fourth kingdom. And then when that takes place it will all come crumbling down and all of those kingdoms will be blown away and this rock that did it, who is Jesus, will explode and cover the earth. It says that the day is coming that the glory of the Lord will fill the earth and that’s what we’re praying for and laboring for. And the glory of the Lord will draw out His people from the dungeons and from the prisons and from the places that they couldn’t get out of and they will have the opportunity to be saved before the thousand year reign goes into effect. That’s what we’re getting ready to go into now. But before that can happen we must have our feet cleansed like the disciples. Peter said, I’m good. There’s no problem with me. I’ll never reject You. But when the time came he ran. Who sentenced Jesus? Caesar. Caesar comes from the kingdom of the feet. The religious kingdom of Rome sentenced Jesus to die in spite of knowing that He was innocent, to please the people. And the fourth kingdom, which is Italy, has two things that they are known for. One is the Vatican and the other is the great mafia that covers the earth. They’re trying to cover the earth with the mafia and with religion, not righteousness. They believe they can live however they want in this life and then go to purgatory when they die and get cleaned up but it’s not that way at all. It makes me sad. A lot of people think people are going to heaven but very few people that are dying are going to heaven right now. If God doesn’t move on this earth and have a great revival there won’t be many people that make it in the United States because it’s become an apostate church, believing the lies of the four kingdoms. But God has given us a job to destroy the four kingdoms, and I believe that we were sitting on the shelf waiting for this time.
So the iron feet are feet that demons have possessed to do things and go places. We have to come to a place that all of our being is given and living in Jesus. When that takes place we can destroy through the rock, who is Jesus that lives in us, and apply that rock by the seven eyes of God that He’s given us to destroy the four kingdoms so that there will be millions of people saved that would not be saved otherwise. We are laboring for the Lord for His inheritance to come forth. And that is second to nothing else that we can do. Then in verse 39, And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. In other words, those that have clay, which is the human being, trying to be glued together with the demonic activity that is happening on the earth we can destroy that relationship between satan and the clay and destroy the clay that is depending on the beasts of satan to labor for them. Verse 44, And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. So in the days of what we’re seeing, God is setting up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be left to another people but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms and it shall stand forever. So when destroying these kingdoms and taking them back it says it will never be removed from the people that take them. I would say there’s a little wealth to be had there. Verse 45, Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odors unto him. The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king. Daniel didn’t bow an ounce to Nebuchadnezzar but he served him. And God knew that He could trust Daniel, so He gave Nebuchadnezzar a dream that he would forget and that He could perform a miracle. Have you ever had something that you couldn’t remember and someone starts to describe it and you say, O yes, that’s what it was. That’s what happened. He knew. He knew that it was the dream. And he got the interpretation of it, that he was the head of gold. And so he made a ninety foot statue made all of gold. Here I am. Nebuchadnezzar. I am the representation of God. Bow down and worship me. And Daniel and Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego didn’t do that. In fact Daniel wasn’t even there. But the three men said, we’re not bowing down to you. You can do anything you want to. So the king had the furnace made seven times hotter than it had ever been. And he begged them to bow down but they wouldn’t. They said even if God wouldn’t deliver them they won’t bow down because they serve the living God. So they were thrown in the furnace, and the people who threw them in were burned and killed instantly. They were bound with cords and the cords burned up and someone looked inside and said, didn’t we throw three men in? Well I see four, and the fourth one looks like the Son of God. So Nebuchadnezzar looked, and he called them to come out. And the three came out without even the smell of smoke on them. God caused Nebuchadnezzar to stand up and say Don’t anyone ever say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, because they serve the living God. There is no one that could deliver them from that fire except the living God. God will cause people to acknowledge that God is in you if you don’t take the credit for what happens. That’s what lies before us. There are four kingdoms that fight against you and you have to defeat them in your life and then you can begin to join the army of God that fights the whole world to destroy the enemy.
