Matthew 10:39, He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. If you lose your life on the cross, you’re going to find the real you from before the foundation. But if you try to find yourself, you will never know what you were created to be. In the beginning God created the soul, the spirit, and the body. The soul is created by the body and the spirit. The soul doesn’t know anything. When a baby is born, it’s soul begins to learn what it is fed. When it says, come out of Babylon and save your soul, it means that you come out of Babylon because the soul is being bombarded by Babylon. If the body loves the flesh and wants to do what it wants then the soul leaves the place where it is aligned with the spirit and does whatever the body wants to do. In that place you’re not covered by the Lord. You’re on your own and that’s why you don’t prosper. Satan doesn’t prosper you; he kills, steals, and destroys. But God brings life, and life brings increase. You can’t pollute the spirit, which is the breath of God, because it will go back to God, the One who gave it. The spirit will not fellowship with the body if the body chooses to go out, but it will still do what it was called to do, and that is to keep someone alive. But Jesus said those who are fellowshipping with the body are dead. They have the spirit but they are walking dead people as far as God is concerned. It’s when the spirit and the body are one that the supernatural takes place in the soul. So if you want to go out and just do what you want to do and not obey the will of the Lord then you will be outside the realm of His covering. You are still connected to your spirit but your spirit is not feeding your soul so that your spirit, soul, and body become one. It says God breathed into the body and it became a living soul. But if the soul and the body march away from the spirit of life, it’s still alive but God does not cover someone that does that. The Spirit may come and speak on occasion to remind you, you need to come back to that place of oneness with the spirit and the body that makes up your soul. Otherwise when the Lord sees your soul He won’t even have to ask you any questions, He’ll just look at your soul and He’ll see what’s in it. You can’t lie to the breath of God because what you have done is all recorded. According to your works He will judge you. That’s the principal we want to look at now in the scripture. Let’s start in 1 Peter 1:18, Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things… You can’t be redeemed by having your soul separated from the breath of God. You can’t be redeemed unless you cry out and want it with all your heart, then God will begin to change you and if you come back to the place where the body is supposed to be in unity with the spirit then the soul will come alive again and things will begin to happen in you. …as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. Verse 21, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory that your faith and hope might be in God. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. The breath of God is the word of God. You can use that interchangeably. When God breathed into man he gave man a commission how it’s supposed to be and if you stay in that place, whatever He breathed into you, even before the world was made, you will become that. But if you are not in tune with the spirit, which is the word of God, you’ll never know what you were called to be. In the end He looks to see how many he can find who allowed God to bring them into the place that they were created to be and were functioning in it. I Peter 1:3b, …hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. The law does not bring you redemption, it just tells you that you’ve sinned. In that place the body is not attached to your spirit. Until Christ came they were under the law and in the place where their soul was listening to the body and their soul was not saved. Those that really sought and followed the laws, Christ went down and preached to them after his death and they received salvation. We have to come back to the original state. Jesus blood will bring you back so that the spirit and the body become one and your soul is then saved. So if we have a lively hope in us by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead then we are saved. Verse 4, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you. We have a portion of that inheritance, we have a degree of removing the iniquity, but the inheritance that is incorruptible and undefiled is reserved in heaven for you. I Peter 2:11, Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul. It doesn’t war against your flesh, it wars against your soul, so that your soul begins to listen to your flesh and you get drifted off. The soul is what you make it. If your body and spirit are in unity, the spirit is what makes it. Otherwise the flesh and blood can’t save you and it can’t redeem you. So the only way you can be redeemed is to come back into this state and allow the spirit to tell the body what it should do and then the body comes into agreement with it and you begin to have salvation in your soul, and you begin to teach the soul the knowledge of God. Verse 25, For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned to the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. God is the Shepherd and Bishop of your soul. Christ also appoints people on the earth that are shepherds. If you are under a true shepherd you shouldn’t give the shepherd a bunch of flack because he is laboring to bring your soul into alignment so the spirit can save the soul. Hebrews 13:17, Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. God will hold all of those that preach, but do not preach the word of God, accountable for the souls that are in that house. Matthew 10:28, And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. If you disobey the breath of God that was put in you, the spirit will still give you life on the earth but you are dead to the spiritual realm. You’re alive to the satanic world but dead to the kingdom of God. Verse 34, Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household, He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. Do you know why? Because He is the only one who can bring the soul back to where it needs to be and line up the body so the spirit can speak and you can be saved. No one else can do it. He didn’t come to bring peace because if you do what He says here there’s not going to be peace in your family. He’s bringing the sword to divide you away from them so that He can bring your body back to line up with the spirit so the soul can come alive again. Verse 39, He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. If you lose your life on the cross, you’re going to find the real you from before the foundation. But if you try to find yourself, you will never know what you were created to be. Matthew 16:26, For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? If you die and your soul is not in line, but it’s following the body and full of lust and greed of the world, where are you going to get enough money to buy your soul back into the place of reality? Jesus said you can’t. There isn’t anything you can do to buy it back because that soul will go to hell. How will you buy yourself back? Paying a priest to pray you out of purgatory can’t save your soul. Luke 12:19, And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. What do you think that is? He speaks to his soul, We’ve done good, soul. Let’s go have a party. Verse 20, But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. Proverbs 19:1, Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool. Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth. The spirit of God, which is the word of God, will teach your soul and your body what is right. Your soul is just a recorder and if you don’t teach it, it says here that if the soul is without knowledge it is not good. Isn’t that a shocker? I thought the soul was godly and helping me to become what I am. But no. Your soul is created by what you do by the word of God that was breathed into you. Your soul can be absolutely stupid about the things of God and if you’ve never taught your soul, the soul will just follow what your body is doing, and that is going out in the world and fellowshipping with it. The only thing that can check you is the word of God that was breathed in you. The soul can’t because it doesn’t have any knowledge unless you taught it. Verse 8, He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good. I love my soul because that’s what is going to save me to be able to go to heaven and be in alignment with the spirit of all the things God placed in me, but He didn’t place knowledge and wisdom in the soul. You have to put it there. Your body has to line up with the spirit and then you’re starting to build your soul with wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. That’s a pretty big job. You have to teach your soul knowledge and if you have no knowledge of God and what He wants done, you’re in bad shape. Verse 15, Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger. If your body is lazy towards working, it’s going to put you in a place of sleep that you’re not even aware that the devil is taking you away because when your soul becomes only in line with the body, you are out of the covering and it will carry you away, because the soul doesn’t have any knowledge of God. If all you’ve taught the soul is to have fun then the soul is going to go out and have fun with you. You can’t depend on the soul to direct you because the soul is what needs saved. Christ came to save the soul because the body is going to be gone, the spirit will go back to the one that sent it, and the only thing left is your soul that you made. Now if you didn’t make it right, how are you going to buy it back? In that place someone else owns your soul. If someone else owns your soul, you will find yourself doing what the person that owns your soul does. I have experienced that. That’s why you have to have a sword and cut off all those that are floating out there having a good time and have no knowledge of God. Verse 16, He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die. The spirit has to teach your flesh what is right or wrong, then your flesh will mirror what you are because it goes to the soul, then if you are focused upon the Lord and begin to do the Lord’s work and begin to grow in Him the soul will change and be forgiven and wiped clean. It says the devil fights against your soul but those that have cleansed their soul will be in a good place. Those that don’t want to follow what God said you must do to be able to live with Him forever will die. Verse 17, He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. If you do something for someone that really needs help and can’t pay you back, you are going to be paid back by the Lord, and His pocketbook is a whole lot bigger than a poor man’s pocket book. Verse 18, Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying. Don’t pay any attention to him while he’s having a fit crying. Give it to him while you have hope that he will begin to love the word of God in him. At the time when I’m disciplined it’s not much fun but once I yield into the will of God it becomes a beautiful thing. It’s always done that for me. Sometimes it takes a couple weeks. But God lives forever. You can pout if you want to for a week or a month, but where are you going to go. One day I wake up and say, I know I don’t have anywhere to go. It’s time to give up. The reason that happens in me is because I have to go through a process of what it’s going to cost me if I give that up. And if I come to a place that I know it’s worth it and I know it’s right and I’m willing to do it then I give up. And in a few days the Lord comes back and begins to speak to me again. Proverbs 22:4, By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honor, and life. You can’t demand honor. You have to earn it. Riches, honor, and life come for those that are broken and have gone through the process to come to the place that only God can do it and you’re only a vessel to carry His word. Verse 5, Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them. Those that are froward are those that are arrogantly bold and charge on through without thinking of how it’s going to end up, and those people are always being snagged and hurt. Do you know that you have to keep your soul? Because if you are rebellious your soul will be rebellious and be out of the covering. The spirit teaches your body and your body then has to be transformed and taught knowledge and all of the seven eyes. Verse 22, Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate: For the Lord will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them. Don’t oppress the afflicted, because if God puts affliction on someone He’s making them miserable so they will come back to Him. If you interfere with that He’s going to spoil your soul. Verse 24, Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul. The soul can carry you off if it’s not covered by the Lord. Jeremiah 5:9, Shall I not visit for these things? Saith the Lord: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? God has a soul too. If our soul is saved then we can fellowship with God’s soul and that’s what carries us on. Your soul that is connected to the kingdom of God can commune with God’s soul and He doesn’t have to speak but you can see what God is doing and how He does it. People say, I’ve never had God speak to me and I don’t know what you mean. Well, it’s not given to you to understand until you want Him. Then He will begin to show you the ways. Verse 29, Shall I not visit for these things? Saith the Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? He’s talking about all the wickedness Israel had done. God said, there comes a time that I’m going to send prophets to you but I’m going to make it so you can’t understand and you can’t hear because I am weary of you making promises to Me and then you don’t keep them. That’s what happens when a person wants you to continually help him. Your soul becomes weary. You can be around someone like that and in fifteen minutes you are so weary you can hardly stand it. That’s because he knows how to grab hold of your soul if you let him. We should only open our soul to those who have honor and life. Jeremiah 6:8, Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited. The children of Israel didn’t know what they had until it was gone, and then they cried out because they had sinned and God’s soul left them. So God said go ahead and prophesy to them but they won’t understand it. When the Lord first called me I remember going to places where there would be a prophet and he would prophesy something out of the scripture and I would be all excited but by the time I got home and studied it again I couldn’t see anymore what he saw. But that’s because my soul hadn’t done what needed to be done. Jeremiah 18:20, Shall evil be recompensed for good? For they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for them, and to turn away thy wrath from them. Jeremiah went before the Lord and said, Lord, should I be paid back with evil when I was trying to help them? I was trying to keep them from you turning away from them so they would get rid of their sins and get right with God and everything would be right again. Then he says, verse 21, Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle. Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet. Yet, Lord, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thus with them in the time of thine anger. Sweet Jeremiah wasn’t so sweet. He said, Lord, kill them. Slay the men. Let the women be widows. Let the children be destroyed because they will come up and do the same thing. He got his wish because they were carried off. Jeremiah 51:6, Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the Lord’s vengeance; he will render unto her a recompense. Babylon is the false church. Get out of it and deliver your soul from it. You have to deliver your soul. You have to get it out of there and teach it knowledge and wisdom and understanding. The only thing you’ll do if you don’t is just lose your soul. If you can find something to buy it back, ok. But Jesus paid the price and bought your soul, so He’s in charge of your soul if you let Him. If you don’t, you can’t be redeemed because there is nothing that money can buy to redeem someone. ![]()
