Wealthy in God

Let’s look at Deuteronomy 8:18, But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. God gives wealth to those that obey Him. Why is it that kings choose their offspring to take their place instead of a peasant or someone who’s common? Because their offspring know the ways of kingship. Moses was a common person as far as where he came from, but God put him in a kingly place for 40 years to learn kingship. Everything is a mindset to where you feel you can go. It’s all a mindset. That’s why they have motivational speakers that make big money to stimulate and activate people in their business. They want to expand their ability in their mind to realize that they can do more than what they are doing. That’s exactly what this is all about here in Deuteronomy. God took the children of Israel out of Egypt. They were all servants and slaves of Egypt. So God said, if you serve Me I’m going to give you the power to become wealthy so that you may establish My covenant. To establish a covenant means to be in kingship. In the midst of all these things that are happening, if you have a real close relationship with the King of kings and Lord of lords, you should begin to walk in the wealth of who God is. The limitations of your mind will begin to fall away and you will begin to arise into kingship to be established in the earth in the kingdom of God.

When God first called me I had the capacity to not be afraid to do things but my mind was small. The biggest thing I had going for me was I didn’t care what other people thought of me. I wasn’t out to try to be somebody everybody would ooh and aah over. If you’re looking for that you’ll never acquire wealth in God. He gives you wealth to help establish His kingdom on earth. Our labor is to help others become kings and become established. If you are peasants you can’t establish anything. But if you have wealth in God it begins to remove you from a place of slavery. Every time you owe somebody something you are a slave to it. Most have experienced for their adult life always owing on something, and if you get right in and think about it, you’re a slave to whatever it is that you still have to pay off. God gives us the power to have wealth that He may establish His covenant with us. One of the first things that happened when God would bring judgment to Israel is they lost their kingship and became common, because they were laboring for common things. If we are on a sojourn with God, traveling to find that city not built by hands, then we will begin to walk in kingship and begin to establish the kingdom of God on this earth. To accomplish that you’re going to have to have some things in the physical. God gives wealth for us to begin to establish His covenants upon the earth. As you do that, you gain wealth in eternity because you are laboring for an everlasting and then eternal call. I’ve said many times, I’m wealthy. I’m so wealthy I don’t even know how wealthy I am. You can do the same thing. It takes material things on the earth, but those material things are only given to you to establish His kingdom on the earth. Solomon was given great wealth, but he spent it on horses, women, and temples for foreign gods. In the end he said it’s all vanity. Of course it is, because he left the sojourn and went and got wealth beyond measure in the physical, and that doesn’t satisfy. What satisfies is knowing that you are pleasing our heavenly Father that has your soul in His hand. He can do with you what He chooses to do. It’s up to us if when He looks at us He says, well done thou good and faithful servant. And you’ll say, when did I do this? When did I do that? When you did it to the least of My children you did it to Me. Why? Because you helped them to begin to become kings. So our fight is not just to fight the kingdoms of darkness but our fight is to have enough wealth to begin to draw out those that want Him and help them become kings as they have fellowship with God.

Verse 19, And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. Your wealth will be gone and when your wealth is gone you’re done. Verse 20, As the nations which the Lord destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the Lord your God. Deuteronomy 9:1, Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day. That’s what He gave to them just before they are ready to cross Jordan and take up the land. You’re going to go over there and I’m going to give you wealth. But it’s not to build a golden calf, it’s not to buy a bunch of horses and depend upon them for your strength, and it’s not for women to please your flesh, but it is made to go over and take the land and establish that which I promised Abraham. And we are still in the process of completing Abraham, by the kingdoms of this world becoming the kingdoms of our Lord and Savior.

Now let’s look at Hebrews 1:1, God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Jesus came on this earth with the word of His power. He gave us the word of God and as that word of God is in us it provides physical wealth along with all of the instruments we need to accomplish His word. It’s all in there. Verse 4, Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. Jesus created the worlds by the word of God, His Father. Even Jesus recognizes that it’s not Him that did it, but it was His Father that gave Him the inheritance and the word of His power to accomplish it and He did it. Jesus was the first of many sons. He’s the one that we’re to pattern our lives after. Verse 5, For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, Oh God, is for ever and ever: and scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom. As we become obedient to Him, He begins to release His righteousness upon us that we might begin to establish what was ordained to us. A scepter is authority. Jesus walked in the righteousness of His Father and He is the scepter of the kingdom of the Father that He created. When He came upon the earth He brought a new kingdom that will never end. Verse 9, Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; People will perish but Jesus will not. Jesus will remain forever. The earth, the sun and stars, and all of the creation that we live in, is going to wax old and there will come a time that it will be no more. Verse 12, And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? If you look in Revelation 3 in the 5th church, He introduces you to the angels. The angels are given to help us accomplish what we have been commissioned by God to do. Those that are fellowshipping with Jesus and the Father are the heirs of salvation. Therefore at some point in time, if you are doing God’s work in establishing, you need help, so God has given us ministering spirits to do ministry.

Let’s look now in Colossians 1:12, Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: We are meant to be partakers of the inheritance of saints that walk in the light of Jesus. Verse 13, Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible, and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church: Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God. We have been given the ability to fulfill the word of God. There isn’t anything greater. Little is much when God is in it, labor not for wealth or fame, there’s a crown and you can win it if you go in Jesus’ name. It’s really simple, but very hard. But this is what we are really laboring for. Fighting the spiritual realms is important, but it’s not as important as establishing God’s kingdom on the earth. For us to establish more of the kingdom of God, we have to get rid of the spirits that hinder. That’s why we fight. We don’t do it to put a feather in our hat; we do it because God has given us part of the land to possess. Those that are establishing and taking people for their own glory are stealing souls from the Lord and He doesn’t take kindly to that.

I don’t think I need to tell you that this world is an absolute mess and in a major uproar. All the world cannot rest. John 14:1, Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Let’s just stop and think a little bit. If we have God as our leader, and the word of God is in us and we are laboring to establish His covenants upon the earth, then why would we be troubled? Because if we die we’ll still go to that place, a place built without hands. Jesus has everlasting life and eternal life in Him. If you are connected to Me and you are one of My children, do not fret because you will be with Me forever. And it’s up to the Lord to direct us because Jesus is the Lord of hosts. He’s the head of the army. How could we have anyone better than Jesus at the head of the army? Verse 2, In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. Jesus is preparing places for us. Verse 3, And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Now, can you stretch your mind enough to believe that Jesus is coming for you to live with Him forever if you stay in obedience to Him and if you want to build His kingdom? Verse 4, And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: So Jesus has the way for you to get there, and He has the truth for you to walk in, and he has the life in you to accomplish it, which is His word. Life is the word of God. Truth is the word of God, and so is the way. …no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If you don’t have Jesus in your heart, you won’t make it. It’s Jesus that brings provision for you in the created eternity that is established for those that want Him, and for it to come upon you and bring you into kingship and labor for His kingdom to establish. And establish means to destroy those that are destroying the earth and raise up God’s inheritance that want Him and cause them to become kings. Verse 7, If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: Jesus is like His Father. Therefore He is qualified to be King of kings and Lord of lords. And as you become a king and priest unto the Lord you are qualified to be sons. No, you won’t be omnipresent like Jesus is because you didn’t come from Him. But you were created in the likeness and image of Him. …and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? Don’t you know that the Father is in Me, and I’m in the Father? That makes us grow quickly into kingship and priesthood. When Jesus and the Father start to live in you, you begin to activate the seven spirits of God which is the mind of God, because God is in you. Those that say things that do not line up do not have the mind of God. They’re trying with their own mind to understand what’s been prophesied and try to tell when it’s coming. I don’t know how many times the world was supposed to come to an end since I’ve been born, but it’s been a lot. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak into you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. The power to accomplish it comes from God the Father. All we do is carry out what He told us to do. Verse 11, Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. The things that I do are supernatural. Can’t you understand that for Me to be in the supernatural the Father is in Me and I am in Him? I draw My supernatural power from My Father because He is greater than I. Verse 12, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. The people that believe on Me, the works that I do, he shall do also, and greater works than these shall he do as well, because I go to My Father. What are the greater works? He healed the sick, He brought miracles to people, but He sent the spirits to dry places. He didn’t take them to the pit. That’s for us. He broke the power of sin that we might have the power to destroy those that destroy the earth and He’s giving out a reward for those that do it. Verse 13, And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do. Whatsoever you shall ask in My name… Lord, if you give me a brand new car I’ll put it in your name, as long as I can drive it. No, if you ask anything when you’re establishing My kingdom I’ll give it to you. …that the Father may be glorified in the Son. God’s children are establishing the kingdom of God on earth so when the Lord comes back His kingdom will be complete. Most of the church thinks that we’re going to sit around and wait. Verse 14, If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; So the Holy Spirit will continue to teach and to show you the things of Jesus and the Father. Verse 17, Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive. The world cannot receive the Spirit of truth and we are seeing that blatantly today. …because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: How are we going to see Him? Through the seven eyes of God. …because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. The day is coming and is now that Jesus is in the Father and we are in Jesus and He is in us. Jesus and his children are one in each other. That’s why He’s called us to be holy. Jesus said, I’m in the Father and the Father is in Me. If I come in you the Father is going to be in you and we will be in the Father and the Son. We’re going to be one. That’s how we’re going to be able to get through to the end. Verse 21, He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Jesus will manifest himself to us but He won’t manifest himself to the world because they can’t see Him. Only those that have the light of Jesus in them will see. Jesus living in you is the light. Jesus is the light which is the seven spirits of God, and when His light is in you, you have your seven senses activated that you can see Jesus and the Father and that which is in the Spirit. Verse 20, At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. I hope that everyone has had that experience where they bring remembrance to you when there is a situation you need that word. Verse 27, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. We have peace when we know that He is going to come for us and He’s preparing a home for us. I don’t dwell on what type of roof it’s going to have or the style of it. I’m not worried about that. What I’m concerned about is the assignments that He’s given me and He’s given you, that you have the power to accomplish the commission that He gave you. Verse 28, Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence. I’m going to do what the Father asked Me to do, even though My flesh doesn’t want it, so let’s go.

We need to keep pressing on and not get bogged down in all of the issues of the world. We’re called to labor in God’s army, but the most important thing is for Him to live in us and us to live in Him.
