When He sees that you want Him, you’ll begin to move God in a way you’ve never moved Him before. But your soul has to be full of life and the heart has to be obedient to the covenant that He placed there. When those two things come together and the soul fellowships with the covenant in the heart, then you become mighty and it is God that does it and you know it.
Matthew 10:39, He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. If you lose your life on the cross, you’re going to find the real you from before the foundation. But if you try to find yourself, you will never know what you were created to be.
In response to our sign we wanted to share the foundation of who we are and why we do what we do. Understanding the ways of God is very important.
I hope that when this settles in your heart it will be something that will move you into realms you’ve seen but not been able to get into. If you can grab hold of what the Lord is speaking it will usher you into realms that many of the prophets of old wished they would have been able to enter into. They weren’t able to because it wasn’t their time. We are blessed that we can enter into them. We are a blessed people if we follow the standards of God.
In intimacy with God, as He begins to change you, you’ll begin to see who God made you to be if you allow Him. You’re the clay and He’s the potter, and He will shape you the way He wants you to be shaped. Whatever it is that you’re called, you are part of the body of Christ, but each one has a part. If the whole body would be the nose it would be a runny mess. That’s the awesomeness of God. Everyone can have a part. Everyone can enter in whether it’s big or small. If we become a discerner of right and wrong He can use us.
To have and be given something you have to be proven and found that you are a faithful person. Until you become faithful to the Creator you won’t see what is in you that He has given you because it’s not activated until you become faithful. You must become a faithful follower, a doer of the word....
Faithfulness is giving all of your soul, spirit, and body over to the Lord completely. If you stumble in the process of learning to rise up and become strong in an area, you don’t quit, but keep going because you are under grace.
There is no excuse for anyone because the prophets prophesied it and the Lord came and broke the power of it and now we even have the descriptions of what the enemy is like and what he does and how he functions, so there is no reason we can’t defeat the enemy. I say the enemy is very weak – he’s only weak if you live in Christ Jesus. If you don’t live in Christ Jesus, satan owns you and it’s impossible to defeat him. The only way you can defeat him is to live in Christ who has the victory for you if you want it and He’ll teach you how to fight to get it.
There is nothing greater that you can do and be but that you please the Father. The ultimate goal is to please the Father, because when you please the Father, God can move heaven and earth to bless you. We run after the physical things. We’ve been blessed with physical things, and if you use it so you’re not bound to earthly things then you’ve been blessed. But if you use it to just keep piling up and gain the whole world you will lose your own soul and what good is it?
Christ constrains us that we should walk no more knowing you in the flesh. This is the wonderful thing about it. The things you did before you were saved aren’t remembered anymore but you are seen in the born again state. Every human being is a rebel; all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. But when I see you, I see you in what you have become and where you want to go, not who you were and what you did. That’s the way Christ looks at us. That means that being born again should remove shame and weakness of the enemy trying to put you in a place that you don’t need to be. Isn’t that incredible?
How many like to be loved? Let’s start in Matthew 10:34, Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me is not worthy of me. I think that scripture tells you as much about who is saved and who isn’t as any place in the Bible. He’s not come to send peace but a sword, and that is to divide those who don’t want God. They may say they do, but they’re religious. Jesus said, I’ve come to separate those that want Me and those that don’t. Those who don’t want Me can go their own way but I’m going to have a people on the earth who love Me and want Me. You may have some contact at times with those who don’t want Him, but the reality is if you allow someone to own your soul you’re in trouble. You have to understand the difference between owning and authority. Those that have authority you submit to. We need to understand that God sees and knows that your enemies are your family more than anyone else. In our social church today they really frown on that. But Jesus is the one who said it. He said, I am so valuable to you that if you love anyone else more than Me, you’re not worthy of Me. He’s looking for a wife. The church is the wife, and He says, If you don’t love Me more than anyone else in the world, or anything, I don’t want you. I’m not going to marry you. The only place you’ll find true love is from Jesus. He’s the one who will teach you what true love is. True love is harsh if you don’t have grace, because true love is truth. Jesus came full of truth and grace. He tells you what to do, and He gives you a period of time to learn how to do it. That’s what grace is. He said, if you love anyone more than Me, you’re not worthy of Me. If it wouldn’t be Jesus speaking, I would say that’s arrogant. But because He is perfect in all of His ways, and He and His Father own everything, it’s not arrogant.
